Dinamo is a Swiss type design practice offering retail, bespoke typefaces and consultancy. Dinamo has spaces in Basel and Berlin, and satellite members in several locations more. They’ve recently published three self-initiated projects using variable font technology; Dinamo Dark Room, Dinamo Pipeline and the Whyte Typeface Family. Their current clients include Kunsthalle Zurich, SSENSE, Warp Records, Instituto Svizzero, Rimowa, MIT Boston ja Yale Architecture Press.

Dinamo will talk about their variable way of collaborating with creatives across disciplines and about figuring, defining and optimising a practice allowing for both, self initiated and commercial work. The presentation will contain personal reflections, more than 74 colour images and some rare pie charts.
